Dr. Samantha LaCroce, MD, is a board certified ophthalmologist at Eyes of York who performs cataract and refractive surgeries, and offers comprehensive eye services, including glaucoma management and treatment, dry eye management, and medical eye exams.
Dr. LaCroce received her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where she was also a 4-year collegiate athlete and senior-year captain of the Wesleyan women’s basketball team. Following graduation, she worked at Boehringer Ingelheim as a Scientist on the Systems Biology and Pharmacology team, conducting modeling for New Drug Concepts. Dr. LaCroce then attended and graduated with honors from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, where she received high-level training in routine, complex, and refractive cataract surgeries, glaucoma, and medical retina.
